Organization and Steering Mechanism
Governing body of the foundation is the Steering Committee (Board), that approves the business plan, the budget, the working plan, the technical and financial annual accounts etc. The Steering Committee appoints Management Team that takes all decisions necessary for the good operation of the foundation. The Steering Committee appoints the director, who creates the conditions for the optimal functioning of the Foundation to reach its objectives.

Staff
The staff of the Foundation is:

Venelin Todorov - Director. He has Master's degrees in Naval-Engineering from Naval Academy and accountancy control from Economical Institute. Additional academic qualification in Business Administration, Law and Environmental management. Later specialized in the Netherlands, U.K., Germany, Hungary, USA. External consultant of UNEP, REC for CEE, USAID, Balkan Stability Pact - REReP. He is a second mandate Deputy Mayor of Bourgas, responsible for environment, welfare, sport and tourism since 1995.

Atanaska Nikolova - Project manager. She has a degrees in Biotechnology and Environmental Engineering of the Technical University in Sofia and MSc degree in environmental protection and sustainable development. Later specialized in Belgium, U.K.,The Netherlands.

Nadejda Petrova - Expert. She has a degree in Finance and Credit of the Belorussian State Economic University and graduated the Research Scholarship with the speciality economic theory and the history of economic doctrines. For two years has been working in Bourgas Marine Association.

Stiliana Savova - Expert. She has a Master degree in Public Administration and Law at the South-West University of Blagoevgrad and additional qualification in Territory and Tax Administration. Later specialized in USA. For five years has been working in Association of Rodope Municipalities.

To achieve the aims, the Foundation can use its own experts and mobilize local, regional and international experts. There are very good contacts with the municipality of Bourgas, the Ministry of Environment and Waters, the Regional Environmental Inspectorate, the Universities in Bourgas and Varna and other relevant Bulgarian Institutes.
